DISCUSSION: Terrorism
There are some people in the world who use religion as a reason to murder, maim and destroy in the most horrific terms. People have been doing this for centuries. It was wrong then and it is wrong now. It is merely an excuse for psychopathic behavior that cannot be tolerated by any society.
Terrorism is not godliness.
Terrorism is not divinely inspired.
Terrorism slaughters men, women and children indiscriminately. Terrorism is not divine. Terrorism is slaughter. Slaughter is not divine.
Terrorism causes horrific injury. This is not divine.
Terrorism shatters dreams and hopes and families. It causes the loss of livelihood and economic ruin.
Terrorism causes suffering and hardship on an inhuman scale and with global repercussions.
Terrorism creates fear and distrust. It undermines law and order. It breaks apart society.
Terrorism is NOT wanted. It causes problems. It does not solve problems. Solving problems always comes through communication. Bombs are not a form of communication.
Anyone seeking to solve problems must look to communication. They must look to what is the true meaning of humanity. Bombs do not promote humanity.
Terrorism is not godliness.
Terrorism comes from the hand of man, whether statesman or outlaw, and it is not a worthy path for any person to follow, it is not a worthy path for any nation to follow either overtly or covertly. It is simply not a worthy path.
Terrorism is not godliness so do not listen to anyone whose words speak of divinely inspired hate. Do not listen to anyone who calls for destruction. Do not listen to anyone who seeks to gain power through the installation of fear, over any one, over any nation, over any age. These are not worthy people. Terrorism is not godliness. Godliness is greater than this.
For
godliness is warmth wrapping around you like feathered wings, the warmth
seeping through to every part, every cell, every thought. Godliness is a
deep reverberation one must listen to so very carefully to listen to the
message. And that message is … turn away from the inhumanity inspired by
falseness. Turn towards the light and not towards the darkness. The
darkness is where the demons dwell and these demons in the shape of
man
are inhuman indeed as they conspire to commit the gravest crimes against
humanity – and expect to be praised in some afterlife for it?
Compassion is a value of humanity and there must always be humanity. Lose humanity and even great men become demons to plague the world. It is obvious some great men of the present day have lost their humanity. Terrorism is not godliness for godliness is greater than this.
Godliness is not slaughter. Godliness is not the slaughter of innocents. Godliness is not the slaughter of anyone.
Godliness is not the politics of fear. Fear is needed by the unworthy to give themselves a purpose, to give themselves power. For without this purpose they are no one. And so they make people suffer to give themselves a purpose. Truly, is this godliness?
Recite: terrorism is not godliness. Inhumanity should not be suffered.
It is not enough to think something is wrong. It is not enough to say something is wrong. If something is wrong it is within the power of all the worthy people of the world, all the diverse people of the world filled with the art of expression, to stand together and right the wrong. The action of humanity is necessary to stem the flow of such criminal inhumanity the like of which the world has never seen before.
Recite: terrorism is not godliness. Inhumanity should not be suffered. We do not live in fear.
As explosions tear the living flesh from bones, as the screams subside but can never fade, as each new day is created and we all wonder what news it will bring, the time has indeed come for us to join in voice and deed and create a world worthy for our children. This future cannot be denied to us by the preachers of hate nor the unhinged maniacs with bombs nor the statesman on television pouring an endless supply of desperate money into covert misery.
If such a time exists to show the world what godliness and goodliness is, then this is such a time.
If such a time exists to show the world that we the people will no longer be terrorised by the politics of hate, then this is such a time.
If such a time exists to show the world that humanity and decency and caring MUST endure, then this surely is such a time.
Recite: terrorism is not godliness. Inhumanity should not be suffered. We
do not live in fear. We will create a worthy world for our children.
This is THE Revelation.
We are all one under the same sun. We ALL stand together.
We are all parts of this wondrous creation that is life, the world, our society. We can all create. If we dare to … we can create hope. What would you do with such a hope?
There is always hope.
