What will the world be like in 12 months? What will the world be like in February 2012? It isn't far ahead. February, 2011
A competition ...
For the last 3 years Alt3 has been telling the world that the period of time ranging from the end of 2010, through 2011 and into early 2012, will be a time of significant and fundamental change. No one listened. And now, and now we only need to look at our television screens, or in some regions of the world, go out into the streets, to see just how true the predictions of change are.
The world is changing. The pace of change is increasing. A year ago, even 6 months ago, or 3 months ago, we would not have thought possible the political and social changes taking place would be possible. Yet look at what's happening in the Middle East and North Africa. Look at the shock waves being sent cascading around the world. Look at the people power. Look at the continuing political mistakes and lack of effective action from once great states.
So now you will believe us when we say the world is changing. There's no use pretending it isn't.
Combined with this there are a range of other changes taking and will take place. Such as:

food and fuel prices will increase dramatically

there will be drought in 2011 and 2012

the populations will start to shift
-
the economic landscape will shift
-
there will be a shift in business emphasis
-
technology will increase
-
healthcare change will increase
-
there is likely to be a massive terrorist outrage by 2012

+ many, many others (details to be supplied if required)
The fact is ... everything we know is starting to change. This has both opportunities AND threats. But how will the world look in 12 months time (from this date, February 2011)? We can see what's happening in the world today. Take a few guesses. Send these in to Alt3 at central@alt3.co.uk - and in 12 months time we'll see if you are correct.

Importantly, the person (s) closest will be highlighted on the Alt3 site at the end of February 2012, as clearly the smartest person - the person with vision and insight. Would you like to be that person? Do you have a voice, and thoughts behind that voice? Let the world hear. Paint a picture of what the world will be like in 12 short months and you never know, the world may then know your name.
